SNAP! In addition to application receipt DataSpace Consult Live provides a secure, feature rich, dynamic consultation environment incorporating consultees into the electronic approval process and removing the need for Local Authorities to print and post applications.

All SNAP! Building Control modules are externally web hosted and do not require any onsite installation or the provision of expensive servers. The intuitive design of our solutions also enables training to be kept to a minimum helping to keep the costs low.

All SNAP! Building Control solutions are continuously updated online ensuring that users are always running on the latest version, thus removing the need for costly onsite upgrades.

 

Submit-a-Plan Applications

A major benefit for applicants using the Submit-a-Plan National Portal over inhouse developed systems is that applicants have a single login, standard forms and the same interface for every Local Authority, making the application process that much quicker and simpler.

All applicants are provided with an online account where a historic record of all part and completed applications are stored. Applicants can even amend their applications after submission by adding new and revised drawings.

 

Application Processing

DataSpace Live is at the heart of SNAP! Building Control and provides everything needed for a Local Authority to process an application received electronically from Submit-a-Plan.

DataSpace Live includes all the tools required to process applications, enabling Local Authorities to view, measure, print and download applications all through a web browser, from any location.

With a built in map interface and diary, DataSpace Live pinpoints work locations and helps plan activities. Application details can be easily shared with third party software with the DataSpace Live ‘Quick Fill’ tool.

 

Pre-Application Consultation (Exclusive to applicants in the Partner Authority Scheme)

New to Submit-a-Plan is the addition of pre-application consultation for Local Authorities and their partners. This exciting new addition provides a feature rich, dynamic online environment for resolving application issues and seeking advice prior to submission.

Local Authorities simply receive an e-mail notification which links them directly to the pre-application in DataSpace Consult Live (Partner Edition). Pre-application drawings can then be viewed, measured and even drawn on. Comments can be created as annotations, notes and even as uploaded documents.

With the addition of a full DataSpace Consult Live account Local Authorities are able to invite individual or groups of consultees to review and comment on applications facilitating a shared consultation environment.

My Virtual Mail Room
Using the My Virtual Mail Room bureau service all paper applications Local Authorities receive are scanned by Resolution and delivered directly into DataSpace Live ready for electronic processing and consultation.

Payment Engine Integration
The payment integration module enables Local Authorities to receive online debit and credit card payments accompanying applications, directly into their existing payment system.
