A major benefit for applicants using the LABC Submit-a-Plan Portal over inhouse developed systems is that applicants have a single login, standard forms and the same interface for every Local Authority, making the application process that much quicker and simpler. If your authority is currently receiving applications via e-mail you will be aware of the issues faced when an application is received, such as incomplete forms, the application being too large for your mailbox and receiving file formats you cannot open. SNAP! Lite simply overcomes these issues.
How Does It Work? Once setup, your customers will be able to submit electronic applications though the LABC Submit-a-Plan Portal. You will receive a notification every time you receive an application, this will contain a link which will take you to the online application. You will then be able to download the application. It's as simple as that!!!
