Press Release Date: 16th June 2008 Submit-a-Plan Forms Electronic and Postal ApplicationsDid you know that the Submit-a-Plan Portal contains a wide variety of LABC standard forms that cater for most Building Control applications? In addition to the standard ‘Full Plan Application’ form on Submit-a-plan.com there are many additional postal only forms currently available that can be activated for electronic submission. Switch Your Postal Forms To Electronic Switching from postal to electronic submission makes it easier and faster for applicants to submit their applications as printing and postage is removed. In addition all electronically submitted applications benefit Local Authorities as they are already in digital format for easy storage, retrieval and sharing. The more electronic applications that a Local Authority receives the less scanning needs to be done, either on a daily basis or in the future, saving time and money. Most Local Authorities that are not setup to receive all forms electronically receive regular Building Control applications that have been completed on Submit-a-Plan and then printed and posted.
