Press Release Date: 5th April 2005 Innogistic and Resolution Cooperation Agreement Cooperation AgreementInnogistic and Resolution have agreed to cooperate in providing integrated solutions incorporating Innogistic FastPlanning and FastCONTROL and Resolutions suite of Technical Document Management software DataSpace. The addition of DataSpace 4 Submit-a-Plan and DataSpace 4 Planning to the extensive portfolio of software from Innogistic now enables Local Authority Building Control and Planning Departments in England, Wales and Northern Ireland to seamlessly integrate Building Control applications made on www.Submit-a-Plan.com and Planning applications made on the www.Planningportal.gov.uk with Innogistics FastContol and FastPlanning management systems. The integration with DataSpace will fully e-enable Innogistic users by providing the back end Technical Document Management Solution required to view and manage the technical documentation received as part of a typical Building Control or Planning Application. As of March 2005 Submit-a-Plan is being used by over 160 Local Authority Building Control sections throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland. More than 180 Local Planning Authorities have signed to integrate with the Planning Portal, and the government has issued a policy that all Local Authorities should e-enable their services by 2005. This joint initiative means that Planning and Building Control will be at the forefront of electronic service delivery. FastCONTROLThe integration between FastCONTROL and DataSpace 4 Submit-a-Plan will allow on-line electronic Building Control applications made through the Submit-a-Plan web portal to be automatically registered into FastCONTROL without the requirement to re-key application details. In addition there is live link between the systems that will allow the viewing of plans and application documents within DataSpace directly from FastCONTROL.
