Beat The Royal Mail Price Increases

New Royal Mail Charges may be costing companies over 51% more when posting Building Control applications*

Royal Mail Price Increases
On 21st August Royal Mail changed the way post was priced. Previously post was priced according to weight. The new system of pricing, termed Pricing in Proportion (PIP) by Royal Mail will be based on both size and weight.

There are three new size formats - Letter, Large Letter and Packet.

A Building Control application that falls into the new Packet category will now cost over 51% more*. A packet is any item over 353mm long Or over 250mm wide Or over 25mm thick.

To avoid the price increases Building Control Applications can be made online using the LABC National Portal www.submit-a-plan.com.

The service is free, and as well as financial savings on postage charges, further cost and time savings can be made as there is no need to print and package applications!!!

Track Progress Online
With 24/7 online tracking there is also no need for companies to spend time and money calling to check on the progress of an application.
