Press Release Date: 25th July 2011 New Submit-a-Plan Graphic For Council Websites
If your Local Authority is enabled to receive electronic submissions through the LABC Submit-a-Plan portal you will no doubt be keen to ensure that your customers are aware and take advantage of the service. To increase visibility of the service on your website there is a new graphic available to download. Download graphic and promotion guide. The new web graphic has been designed to make it clearer for applicants navigating you r Building Control webpage’s to see that online applications can be made. The new graphic includes the Submit-a-Plan logo but also includes key features available for online applicants which are:
Location, Location, Location Having a clear Submit-a-Plan graphic is vital part of promoting online applications but it is equally important to situate it in the right place. Location is key to ensure maximum exposure. Ideally the Submit-a-Plan graphic should be situated at the top of the main Building Control web page; it should also be included at the top of any pages that include application forms.
Update Your Existing Graphics The new graphic has been designed to replace all existing Submit-a-Plan graphics that Local Authorities may well be using, so we urge you to change to the new graphic as soon as you can. Please try not to resize the graphic as it is best displayed at the original size (354 x 97 pixels).
