Interaction with your customers is now a two way street. No longer is Submit a Plan just about the one way submission of applications it’s now the two way approval of applications. Whether it be pre application advice, revising applications, exchanging emails, requesting site inspections, getting an update on an application status or sending out approvals the new Submit a Plan portal delivers.

2. Triple the number of possible users?

As well as the ubiquitous internet explorer from Microsoft (34% of users), Submit a Plan now supports the more creative Apple Mac users running Safari 11%, (a significant number of agents fit into this category) and the rebellious Firefox 20% and more recently Google Chrome crowd 20%. Given the number of creative types running Safari is much greater in the field of design we could easily be doubling if not tripling the number of potential users that can make an application without stepping away from their desk. We have added new profile pages for each council that gives the who’s who and what we do for each Authority.

We have also added the ability to search by postcode to the existing drop down list and map search tools. So there really should be no excuse for applications, or applicants for that matter, getting lost.

Improved, easier, quicker, blah, blah, blah. Yes I know you have heard it all before but a few highlights amongst the hundreds of small improvements are much faster document uploads (for those larger projects with hundreds of documents this is a real bonus) and PDF form creation at anytime (allows partially completed forms to saved and completed offline).
