Unitary & Partnership Update

Since the 1 st April 2010 new unitary councils across the country have been up and running as part of the Local Authority restructuring plan to provide transparent and streamlined services while generating over £100 million of savings per year.

Resolution Data Management has been working closely with the newly formed unitary councils by providing them with Submit-a-Plan SNAP! accounts for the submission and processing of electronic Building Control applications.

SNAP! enables online Building Control applications from the LABC Submit-a-Plan National Portal to be delivered, shared, measured and downloaded without the requirement for any software to installed. Because SNAP! Is web based only internet access is required which makes it the ideal solution for, multiple offices and for home working. Applications can be easily shared between offices and consulted on electronically with the integrated Consult On-line option.

What Have We Done So Far?

To date we have provided SNAP! Unitary accounts to:

  • Central Bedfordshire
  • Cheshire East Building Control
  • Cheshire West & Chester Council
  • Cornwall Council
  • Northumberland County Council
  • Wiltshire Council
Coming Soon

“I would strongly urge any authority to take up SNAP! as you will have the perfect system for bringing multiple authorities and offices together as one. SNAP! also provides the unitary with the ability for team members to work remotely and from home, enabling flexible working.”
