Press Release Date: 23rd November 2005 DataSpace for Submit-a-Plan Much More Than Just Online ApplicationsTo date, DataSpace for Submit-a-Plan has been installed in over 180 Local Authorities in England, Wales and Northern Ireland making it the Industry Standard LABC endorsed system to allow Building Control departments to receive, view and manage electronic applications. The system has however much more to offer. Did You Know… Daily Applications In addition to receiving electronic applications made on www.Submit-a-Plan.com the system can also be used to scan and store daily paper applications using the DataSpace Capture module. DataSpace Capture is a scanning, indexing and archiving system designed to automate the inputting of daily paper applications and large archives into the main DataSpace System. Resolution Bureau Services can also undertake all scanning and input applications directly into the DataSpace with our managed services. As well as ‘live’ applications DataSpace can be used to store archives of old applications. Data Conversion Local Authorities that have previously had archive applications scanned for storage in other DMS systems need not worry. Resolution Bureau Services has already converted many Local Authorities older scanned data and added it to DataSpace. We have converted Data from Alchemy, Lazy Docs and CD VIEW but can do Any System. Get Prepared Getting prepared for receiving electronic applications is also important so that once you have received an application you are able to process it with ease.
