Surveyor/Senior/Principal Posts - Building Control
Up to £60,000 per annum plus 10% car allowance scheme

The London Borough of Barnet is an ambitious authority with one of the most significant programs of growth in the region. Depending on your qualifications and experiences, we are looking for enthusiastic and talented candidates at Surveyor, Senior and Principal level to help us to deliver a high-quality service.
These roles are all full-time positions and you will be an employee of Regional Enterprise (Re) supporting the Building Control function whilst providing a range of activities delivered in accordance with the Building Control Performance Standards and an LABC accredited Quality Management System (QMS). The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a proven recent track record and have an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of Building Control and allied legislation.
With excellent organisational skills, you will be able to plan and coordinate a wide range of tasks and provide professional advice and guidance to all users of the service. Good IT skills, accurate record keeping and effective communication skills are essential requirements. A full, clean driving license and use of a car is also essential for business purposes.

You will be eligible to join the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and we will also pay a single annual payment towards your professional fees.
