Site Contact App Updates...Photos as evidence of rectified conditions! Cutting down on site visits!

This month we have updated the iOS and Android versions of the Site Contact App with a number of enhancements to make it even more intuitive.

The Site Contact App enables Site Managers or other site contacts to receive live updates on inspections from Local Authorities. Using the app the site contact can view details, documents, notes, conditions and results of inspections. In addition the site contact can even communicate with the local authority as well as request and arrange further inspection visits.

A more recent update now also enables the site contact to upload their own photos as evidence of a condition rectified, therefore cutting down the number of repeat site visits for the local authority. The photos are automatically uploaded from the app to the original Submit-a-Plan application in DataSpace Live where the authority can view, assess and approve the changes and ultimately sign off the inspection, sending the decision back to the app. 

The Site Contact App is one of Submit-a-Plan's latest releases to DataSpace Live and part of our long-term vision to create a more efficient, electronic building control application and inspection process for Local Authorities and their clients.
